in the kitchen...ocean studio
Thanks for making me feel all fancy
after the last post...you are bound to grow bored
quickly from a deluge of pics of your fairy friend
vogue-ing in Shabby Chic Couture, yet here
is another from the shoot in my kitchen.

I have to share images of Pam Pierce magic
from this month's Veranda cuz it is
one of the prettiest homes I've
laid eyes on.
It's Pam's own home.

Yep.
THE Pam Pierce launching
MILIEU MAGAZINE.
Sweet Jesus on a wafflecone with extra sprinkles,
forgive a sista for coveting tufted upholstery
so lustfully she could burst.

On planet michele, I drape myself
in pale pink tulle and hop on this bike,
for a joy ride 'round the chateau...

alas, this friends, is Pam Pierce's
quiet romantic reality.

I can breathe here, and behold the artful chair!
You just know the designer
has sassy wit.

I have changed from my tulle ensemble
and am now in the kitchen sporting pristine white jeans
(a la Yolanda Foster if you're a RHOBH fan).

Scratch that. Whatev.
No way am I competing with that Dutch
goddess married to David or all this lovely.

Random but true:
Good times at some parties with composer
David Foster and his sister Jaymes about 10 years ago
when I kind of had a life.
I hope glimpses of Pierce's tranquil 1920's home
brought some joy and inspiration.

p.s.
Have you seen Leslie's blog with its makeover?
She is inspiring me with her videos and
said 'hi' to me in one!
p.s.s.
Deb, do you see your antlers on my console?

Oh it sure did it's lovely.

What a beautiful home.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love most
ReplyDeleteabout this home is
the peaceful vibe...
and I'm betting that
is what drew you to
it, too : )
I think David Foster
is so talented; not
surprised you ran with
the big dogs!

David Foster "extraordinaire" is one of my heroes!! franki
ReplyDeleteThe home is so my taste, a quiet, peaceful elegance, yet still welcoming. I am in the "change the house all around vibe", and whites and creams call to me again. About 25 years ago several rooms in another home were monochromatic and I miss it. I will keep my beautiful maple and cherry kitchen though!
ReplyDeleteWow Michele! I just love this look! The pops of green, the bedroom, and that kitchen.. Holy smokes girlfriend! You always find the most remarkable places!
ReplyDelete(and we will never tire of the gorgeous photos ;)
